QDB's Al Dhameen programme provides benefits to 298 Qatari SMEs
(MENAFN) Around 300 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) advantaged from Qatar Development Bank's (QDB) indirect loaning system, according to QDB Al Dhameen Programme manager Jawaher al-Noaimi.
Al-Noaimi emphasized the number of SMEs that advavtaged from Al Dhameen is among the development bank's accomplishments this year in its pursuit to support and boost the country's private sector, which is aligned with the objectives of Qatar National Vision 2030.
Talking to Gulf Times on the sidelines of a forum to support Qatar-U.S ties, al-Noaimi affirmed 298 SMEs advantaged from the QR1.6bn expended by QDB through Al Dhameen.
Al Dhameen is an indirect lend facility programme that purposes to boost banks to offer financing to startups and SMEs that are unable to provide the essential financing assurances or guarantees.
