Egypt's diary sector rebounds over cheap prices

(MENAFN) Egypt is witnessing a swift development in its dairy sector after the prices of dairy products have become less expensive in comparison to other animal protein resources.

Residents of Egypt now consume over 60 tons of dairy per year, as announced Tetra Pak based on its statistics.

The effect of reforms in Egypt in relation to the acquisition of power is holding an impact on the outcomes of companies, Tetra Pak noted.

The Egypt market recorded a major rebound after achieving a recovery in instability over the last years, as stated Mohammed Al-Damati, member of the Chamber of Food Industries.

Al-Damati, speaking to Asharq Al-Awsat, also expressed anticipation for the purchasing power of Egyptian consumers to avoid the impact of the economic reforms the government is implementing.
