Saudi Arabia sets foundation stones to 7 key projects
(MENAFN) Saudi Arabia was announced to have inaugurated its first nuclear research reactor, among seven significant initiatives.
Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman placed the foundation stones for the projects which will be launched in Riyadh at King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology.
The projects were unveiled to be covering renewable and nuclear energy, water desalination, genetic medicine and aircraft manufacturing.
The Saudi crown prince also opened the Central Laboratory of the Saudi Human Genome, which looks to study genes responsible for inherited diseases.
