    Turkish, Belarusian scientists to join forces in polar research

    (MENAFN) Turkish and Belarusian scientists decided to join hands in their efforts in the field of polar research.

    The agreement was reached at a meeting of the the joint Belarusian-Turkish commission in Ankara on Monday.

    The two sides also decided to have the Belarusian polar expedition reach Antarctica from Istanbul on Thursday.

    The Belarusian embassy in Turkey said: "Belarus suggests cooperation with 2-3 members of the Turkish Polar Research Center at the Belarusian station in 2019."
