(MENAFN) Kuwait's United Projects for Aviation Services Company (UPAC) recorded a 2.4 percent increase in its net profit during the third quarter of 2018, reaching USD8.2 million.

The net profit of the Kuwaiti-based group also registered a 10 percent jump in its net profit from January to September this year, standing at USD24 billion.

"Our indicators are on par with expectations, with our net profits increasing steadily during the third quarter of the year," stated CEO of the group Nadia Akil.

"Growth continues to be driven by our income generating projects at the Kuwait International Airport as well as other prominent projects in the country," the group's CEO noted.

"Construction of Abu Dhabi's Reem Mall is moving ahead according to schedule. All the above elements give us confidence and optimism that we are on the right track. I look forward to report further milestones for the remainder of the year," Akil added.
