Abu Dhabi launches int'l petroleum expo
(MENAFN) Emirates News Agency (WAM) announced the commencement of the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC).
Abu Dhabi crown prince's court chief Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan inaugurated the ADIPEC, which is set to be wrapped up November 15.
Sheikh Hamed stated: "with the support and follow-up of the leadership, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and (its capital) Abu Dhabi have established their position as a global destination for global energy sector dialogue."
The event, the chief of the court revealed, will be joined by a number of experts who will carry out several talks.
He added that the talks will pay a major role when it comes to the reality and fate of global oil and gas sector.
