    Tunisian tourism forecast for sharp rebound

    (MENAFN) Tunisia was declared to be forecast to see a rebound in its tourism sector with 9 million expected visitors in 2019.

    Tunisian Prime Minister Youssef Chahed assured that tourism in the country is witnessing a rebound after the 2015 breach resort attack.

    From January to September this year, Tunisia recorded a 16.9 percent surge in the number of its tourists as it welcomed 6.2 million arrivals.

    The Tunisian prime ministry also unveiled that the country is predicted to receive 8 million tourists by the end of this year.

    The prime minister further added: "we hope that this recovery continues and to see about 9 million tourists in 2019."
