    Israel, Microsoft ink USD27m agreement

    (MENAFN) Israel and Microsoft Corporation were announced to have inked a cooperation deal at a worth of USD27 million.

    Under the four-year deal, government offices will be receiving desktop services, software and servers from the U.S. tech giant, effective next year.

    The Government Procurement Administration of Israel's Ministry of Finance was confirmed to have penned the pact with the U.S. giant.

    The agreement was secured following last August when the two sides clashed over the extension of the contract.
