Saudi Arabia likely to cut crude prices to Asia

(MENAFN) Saudi Arabia is forecast to impose in February reductions on the prices of heavier crude grades which Asia purchases as a result of poor fuel margins.

The expectation was based on a recent survey of which Reuters carried out and released on Thursday.

According to the survey, "the official selling prices (OSPs) for Arab Medium and Arab Heavy crude grades are expected to fall by up to 50 cents a barrel in February from the previous month."

The report is also projecting cuts by 15 cents in the prices DME Oman crude presents between the first and third month.
