Somali Mogadishu Port to receive Maersk Line services
(MENAFN) Mogadishu Port in Somalia was announced to have inked an agreement with the Maersk Line to receive services from the Denmark-based shipping company.
The shipping company is set to begin its work at the Somali port, declared the Mogadishu Port Authority in a statement.
The authority confirmed that "the start of service by Denmark-based Maersk Line is the proof of our country's growing economy and a clear sign of the world's interest in working with Somalia."
It further expressed its wishes for the move to attract more shipping firms, saying that it was definitely a chance for worldwide exports.
