Saudi Aramco to set up refinery in Pakistani port city
(MENAFN) Saudi Aramco was announced to be planning to establish a refinery in Gwadar, a port city in Pakistan, as part of its expansion.
Pakistani Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry affirmed that "the oil refinery project will be the biggest Saudi investment in Pakistan."
It comes after a Saudi delegation consisted of fifteen members paid a trip to the Pakistani port city in order to complete a memorandum of understanding on the oil refinery project.
The agreement, Chaudhry added, has been "finalized and overall directions have been agreed upon and the agreement will be signed at an appropriate time."
