    Lebanese investors targeted by Guinea-Bissau

    (MENAFN) Lebanese investors are being targeted by Guinea-Bissau, which promised to provide all sorts of support for them in various areas.

    Lebanese head of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture Mohamed Choucair was engaged in a meeting when he received the pledge.

    The vow was made by Cipriano Cassama, president of the National People's Assembly of Guinea-Bissau during the talks in Beirut.

    Cassama affirmed that "Guinea-Bissau has a promising future, and we want to share with the Lebanese this future, so we will give all the guarantees and facilities including taxes and customs exemptions to those who wish to invest in our country."

    Investors in Lebanon ought to operate in Guinea-Bissau since it "is rich in natural resources, such as oil that has not be invested in, as well as phosphate, gold, cement and other fields," he added.

    The Lebanese chief also confirmed that his country possesses several investments opportunities with potential, mainly in infrastructure and oil and gas projects.
