    Kuwait plans USD20b civil aviation investments

    (MENAFN) Kuwait is planning to allocate USD20 billion of investments over the following ten years in its civil aviation sector.

    Kuwait's Directorate General of Civil Aviation head Sheikh Salman Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah unveiled the news in India at a Global Aviation Summit, as reported KUNA.

    With the help of the funds, the top official confirmed, the Kuwaiti International Airport and other aviation-related services will have their capacity boosted.

    Al-Sabah further added that the country already launched a project to establish a new air traffic control tower for the airport.
