    Iraqi oil exports hit USD6m in January

    (MENAFN) Iraq's Oil Ministry announced more than USD6 million to have been generated through exporting oil last month, standing at over 113 million barrels.

    In an emailed statement, the Iraqi oil ministry unveiled that "the total exports of crude oil in January from oilfields in central and southern Iraq reached 110.245.281 million barrels."

    It noted that "Iraq exported 2.315.381 million barrels exported from oilfields of Iraq's northern province of Kirkuk, in addition to 550,000 barrels of oil exported from al-Qayyara oilfield in the northern province of Nineveh."

    According to the ministry's spokesman Asim Jihad, the average oil exports accounted for 3,649 million barrels per day (bpd) in January 2019.
