    Iran to launch 10 mining initiatives at USD455m

    (MENAFN) Ten projects related to industrial mining were unveiled to be implemented by the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO).

    Iran's IMIDRO is introducing the initiatives at a cost of around USD455 million at the Ten-Day Dawn which marks the victory anniversary of the Islamic Revolution.

    The initiatives are set to be inaugurated by IMIDRO Head Khodadad Gharibpour, and are expected to open job opportunities for 1,933 people.

    Gharibpour stated that "mining sector relies on domestic knowledge and production equipment so it will be least affected, in comparison with other sectors, by U.S.-led sanction."
