    Saudi Arabia to sign investment deals with Pakistan

    (MENAFN) Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman is probable to pay an official visit to Pakistan soon, with important investment deals expected to be contracted.

    A record investment package being ready by Saudi Arabia for Pakistan will probable provide wanted assistance for its cash-strapped Muslim ally, while also addressing regional geopolitical difficulties, analysts emphasize.

    At the heart of the investment is a reported USD10 billion refinery and oil complex in the strategic Gwadar Port on the Arabian Sea, the last destination for the huge multi-billion dollar China Pakistan Economic Corridor, which is not far from the Indo-Iranian port of Chabahar.

    Two Saudi sources have affirmed to AFP that heir apparent to the Gulf kingdom's throne, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, will visit Islamabad soon, without providing a particular date.
