    Jordan, IMF ink USD96m loan agreement

    (MENAFN) Jordan and the Arab Monetary Fund (IMF) penned a USD96 million loan deal to strengthen the Kingdom's fiscal and monetary reform plans.

    Under the loan agreement, Jordan will be allowed to keep on working on its reforms along with boosting its efforts in improving financial inclusion, stated the Jordanian Ministry of Finance.

    In a statement, the ministry noted that the IMF reached a decision to support Jordan with a credit line that links external trade.

    It further added that the Kingdom will be given the advantage of technical aid and training from the IMF, along with a number of technical assistance plans for human resources enhancement.
