Jordan to address investment, reforms in int'l conference
(MENAFN) Jordan is planning to address during a conference it is co-hosting its investment potential as well as reforms carried out within the London Initiative.
Jordanian Minister of State for Media Affairs Jumana Ghunaimat unveiled the news during a news conference held on Tuesday.
According to the Jordanian minister, the international conference is part of Jordan's efforts to strengthen exports, lure investments, open job opportunities and achieve economic development.
The conference, slatted for January 28th, is to be about Jordan and for Jordan, affirmed Jordanian Minister of State for Investment Affairs Muhannad Shehadeh.
Shehadeh added that "this is not an economic event or one for investments only. It is not only about asking for aid, but is also meant to restore confidence in the Jordanian economy and to highlight the potential."
