    Turkey steps up measures to tackle unemployment

    (MENAFN) Turkey is aiming to see a decline in the unemployment rate as it commenced a project to open job opportunities in backing businesses.

    Turkish minister of family, labor and social services stated "as a state, we pay salaries, taxes and premiums of every new personnel employed by businesses for three months."

    According to the minister, the Turkish government is committed to keep paying taxes and premiums for employees after nine months.

    "Within the scope of employment-intensive policies, Turkey has created over 10 million jobs since 2009," affirmed Turkish finance and treasury minister Berat Albayrak.
