    Iraqi crude oil exports hit USD6.17b in Feb

    (MENAFN) Iraq exported USD6.17 billion worth of crude oil in February 2019, with the sector amounting for over 90 percent of the Iraqi revenues.

    Over 100 million barrels of crude oil was exported last month, announced the Iraqi Oil Ministry based on the State Organization for Marketing of Oil data.

    According to the ministry, "the total exports of crude oil in February reached about 101.39 million barrels, at an average of 3.62 million barrels per day."

    It comes two years after the country registered a surge in its oil reserves to stand at 153 billion barrels, from a forecast of 143.1 billion barrels.
