    Egypt, Hamas see rebound in bilateral relations

    (MENAFN) Egypt and Palestine's Hamas have been witnessing a rebound in their bilateral relations with strengthened cooperation, affirmed Hamas politburo chief Ismail Haniyeh.

    "Ties with Egypt are stable and deep," asserted the Hamas chief following talks with several Palestinian reporters after a trip to Egypt.

    According to the chief, "we turned the page of the past. Today we are talking about constructing a strategic relationship between Hamas and Egypt," noting that "our ties with Egypt are now positive and influential."

    Both sides were suggested to be building up and constructing their relations in various areas, including economy and trade.
