Iran, Azerbaijan eye stronger railway cooperation
(MENAFN) Iran is planning to strengthen its bilateral relations and cooperation with Azerbaijan, mainly in the railway sector.
Iranian Presidential chief of staff Mahmoud Vaezi highlighted the importance of the Qazvin - Rasht railway while urging for the Rasht - Astara railroad to be launched.
According to the Iranian chief, "we must work to complete and finalize this project as soon as possible."
This comes during a meeting between the chief and Azerbaijani Minister of Economy Shahin Mustafayev.
Vaezi affirmed during the talks that "Tehran has no limits in development of bilateral relations with Baku."
