    Iran, Lithuania to strengthen economic ties

    (MENAFN) Iran and Lithuania reached an agreement to further strengthen and expand bilateral relations, mainly in the economic domain.

    Honorary consul and in charge of the Lithuanian consulate in Iran Mohsen Karimi Tabasi hailed the Islamic Republic potential in developing and exporting pharmaceutical raw materials worth USD3 billion.

    According to the official, Lithuania is fully committed to preserve its cooperation with Iran despite sanctions the United States imposed.

    Tabasi also applauded the success of visas issued for Iranian traders, while confirming that investors from both countries are assured to witness a welcoming environment.
