Lebanese health sector to receive more WB aid
(MENAFN) Lebanon is receiving more financial assistance from the World Bank (WB) in its health sector, announced WB Middle East director Saroj Kumar Jha.
This comes while the bank's director was engaged in talks with Lebanese Health Minister Jamil Jabak, as reported the National News Agency.
"We will support the health sector in Lebanon with projects that cover a greater number of the population," the director declared.
Through WB's aid, Jha stressed, Lebanon needs to put more efforts in the execution of initiatives agreed upon with the bank.
Jabak also stated "we will be working in close cooperation with the World Bank which can continuously supervise our work."
