UAE, Togo to step up economic, investment ties
(MENAFN) The UAE explored with Togo means to strengthen bilateral relations along with strengthening joint investments between the two sides.
Discussions were held between UAE's Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Togo President Faure Gnassingbe.
During the meeting, WAM reported, the two leaders addressed cooperation in various areas, mainly in economy and investments.
Both sides also penned a deal that enables the Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development to fund Togo's small-and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
Khalifa Fund was confirmed to be extending as much as USD15 million of assistance to initiatives launched in Togo.
