5 Iraq-Iran agreements penned
(MENAFN) Five memorandums of understanding were secured between Iran and Iraq with an aim to strengthen bilateral relations mainly the fields of economy and healthcare.
Iran and Iraq, under the five agreements, will expand and toughen their cooperation in various areas, including healthcare, trade and oil.
Both sides will be joining hands on establishing a railroad link between Shalamcheh and Basra, along with setting up visa facilitation for investors and businessmen.
Visa facilitation would enable the two countries to exchange visa issuances with no costs, effective April.
Iraq's Ministry of Trade is also expanding its ties with Iran's Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade under one of the five deals.
