Qatar's QFC inks digital deals with French companies
(MENAFN) Qatar Financial Centre (QFC) secured agreements with Paris EUROPLACE and Finance Innovation with a purpose to develop the Qatari digital industry.
Two memorandums of understanding were penned with the French firms, granting Paris EUROPLACE a task to market and grow the Paris financial market.
Under the deals, Qatar's digital market will be presented with support in growth along with receiving knowledge in innovation trends, cross-promoting start-ups in both Qatar and France among other things.
"The digitalisation of the economy is a key component of Qatar's ambitious national initiatives and the Qatar Financial Centre's mandate, both of which aim to enable further economic diversification," stated CEO of QFC Authority Yousuf Mohamed Al Jaida.
