    Iraq's SOMO drops 0.11 percent in oil exports

    (MENAFN) Iraqi state oil giant SOMO exported USD60.83 worth of oil per barrel in February 2019, marking a 0.11 percent decline from January figures.

    SOMO's exporting rate however recorded a 3.87 percent boost in the exporting rate total which hit USD3.621 million barrels per day from southern and northern ports.

    Exports of oil to Asia alone accounted for 67 percent while exports to Europe amounted for 20 percent and to the United States for 13 percent.

    Light crude oil prices to Asia were announced by the company to have increased 0.35 percent, effective April, from the 0.65 percent seen in the last month.
