    Saudi airports mark 8 percent raise in passenger traffic

    (MENAFN) Saudi Arabian airports welcomed over 99.86 million travelers over the past year to mark an 8 percent surge from 2017 results.

    General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) revealed that Saudi airports, based on its data, recorded a jump by 4.1 percent in the number of its flights last year.

    GACA confirmed the UAE to have been the most popular destination for Saudi airports passengers, with Egypt, Pakistan, India and Turkey coming next.

    It added that around Jeddah's King Abdulaziz International Airport (KAIA) received around 35.8 million passengers to record the highest rate of passenger traffic during the period.
