Lebanon seeks Qlayaat airport development
(MENAFN) Lebanon is planning to launch an expansion project for its Qlayaat airport, revealed head of Tripoli's Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, Toufic Dabbousi.
Qlayaat airport is targeted to see an increase to cover more than ten square meters from its current three square meters, head of the chamber announced.
"This airport will be equipped with features that will turn it into a modern facility that can be compared to the most advanced airports in the world," the chief unveiled.
Dabbousi also highlighted the necessity of witnessing development in Tripoli's economic zone, benefiting oil and gas firms greatly.
