    Egyptian, Jordanian, Iraqi leaders discuss economic ties in Cairo

    (MENAFN) On Monday, Egyptian President Abdul Fattah Al-Sisi, Jordan's King Abdullah II and the Iraqi Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi encountered in a tripartite summit which was held in Egypt's capital, Cairo.

    The three-way meeting conferred several subjects of mutual interest, including "strengthening economic ties between the three countries, promoting joint industrial zones, and cooperation in the energy, infrastructure and reconstruction sectors, and other development sectors."

    The summit also touched on the topics of "increasing trade exchange, promoting joint investments and developing cultural cooperation relations" between the three Arab nations.

    The three leaders decided "to set up a working group to follow-up on the implementation of the summit output and coordinate on the three nations' economic, developmental, political, security and cultural cooperation."
