    Egypt hits USD7.99b in 2017 exports to Arab nations

    (MENAFN) An Arab Investment & Export Credit Guarantee report revealed that Egypt generated USD7.99 billion in its exports of commodities to Arab nations two years ago.

    In 2017, the report unveiled, Egypt mostly exported to the UAE commodities worth USD2.38 billion, followed by Saudi Arabia at USD1.49 billion and Lebanon at USD590.96 billion.

    According to the report, Jordan snatched the fourth spot in receiving Egyptian commodities with USD425.79 million, with Sudan at the fifth place at USD374.07 million.

    Egyptian exports of commodities to Algeria stood at USD359.79 million while Morocco reached USD347.75 million and Tunisia at USD329.2 million, the report added.
