    Dana Gas sees double profits in Iraqi Kurdish operations

    (MENAFN) UAE's energy giant Dana Gas registered from January to March 2-19 significant profits from its joint venture in Iraq's Kurdistan region.

    Profits doubled from the same period in 2018 to stand at USD39 million in dividends from Pearl Petroleum, in which Dana Gas owns stake of 35 percent.

    Referring to the USD18 million generated in quarter one of 2018, Dana Gas chief executive Patrick Allman-Ward assured "we have had a very positive start to year in the KRI."

    Pearl Petroleum posted USD112 million in sales of condensate, LPG and gas in the Iraqi Kurdish region during the first three months of this year.
