QP signs long-term deal to supply naphtha for Thai firm
(MENAFN) Qatar Petroleum (QP) finalized a deal with SCG Chemicals for providing the Thai giant with 3 million metric tons of light naphtha over a ten-year period.
In a statement, the Qatari oil giant confirmed the agreement to have been secured for the Sale of Petroleum Products Company (QPSPP).
This is the first document for QPSPP to seal for the supply of naphtha feedstock to a client in Thailand.
"The agreement is very crucial to our petrochemical business in Thailand," stated head of SCG Chemicals Cholanat Yanaranop.
"It provides the security and quality feedstock to the upstream facilities which will strengthen our total value chain through downstream plants," Yanaranop added.
