    Jordan seals USD329m deal with U.S.

    (MENAFN) Jordan's Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation announced the Kingdom to have secured an agreement valued at USD329 million with the United States on economic aid.

    Through the agreement, the Jordanian economic growth is expected to level up and economic stability is forecast to be achieved, affirmed Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Mary Kawar.

    The economic assistance deal is part of an aid package the U.S. is presenting to Jordan amid economic reforms.

    Jordan will be able under the document to execute a number of initiatives within various areas, including health, education and water.

    Last year, the U.S. decided to offer Jordan economic assistance of USD1 billion in order to help trade and investment in the Kingdom.
