Iraq grants Siemens 3 deals for power project
(MENAFN) Iraq granted German tech firm Siemens three agreements for the first stage of the Roadmap Implementation Agreement.
Valued at USD784.2 million, the contracts consist of rehabilitation, current plants renovation, development of transmission and distribution networks.
They also include short, mid- and long-term development of new extremely efficient power production capacity.
It comes after the Iraqi Ministry of Electricity and the German giant signed in 2018 a memorandum of understanding related to the project.
