Economic Moroccan-EU ties to be strengthened
(MENAFN) Morocco explored with the European Union (EU) means to strengthen their bilateral relations and cooperation in the economic domain.
Discussions were held between Moroccan Prime Minister Saad Eddine El Othmani and the European Commissioner for Economic and Financial Affairs, Taxation and Customs, Pierre Moscovici.
Both sides, during the meeting, underlined the necessity of deeper cooperation between Morocco and the EU along with executing new European tactics within joint economic and development plans.
In a statement, El Othmani's office confirmed that the two sides "have overcome a series of obstacles while opening new horizons for their strategic partnership in several areas of socio-economic development."
They also addressed the potential of a tripartite collaboration aimed at achieving development and stability within Africa.
