    Jordan granted USD166.4m IMF funds

(MENAFN) Jordan is receiving USD166.4 million of funds from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) after the second assessment of its economy was wrapped up.

Within the Extended Arrangement under the Extended Fund Facility (EFF), Jordan was so far granted USD309 million of disbursements from the IMF.

Back in 2016, Jordan sealed an Extended Fund Facility with the IMF for a period of 36 months, valued at USD700 million.

"Continued donor assistance is key to help Jordan cope with the refugee crisis and support the authorities' policy and reform efforts," the IMF stated.
