    4 water, power plans launched in Kuwait

    (MENAFN) Kuwait was announced to have launched four initiatives related to the water and power domains, valued at around USD512,935,800.00.

    Ministry of electricity and water allocate for now KWD 114 million for the projects, marking 73 percent of the overall amount needed to complete them.

    In a report, the Kuwaiti ministry was unveiled to have been able to fulfill massive steps forward on investments required for the projects.

    Constructing Doha Reverse Osmosis Seawater Desalination Plant is among the projects, as well as the establishment of gas units in Sabiya CCGT power station.

    Kuwait will also be creating gas turbines in Sabiya along with implementing phase three of the installation of gas turbines in Al Zour South power plant.
