    Tunisian agricultural project to receive FAO financing

    (MENAFN) Tunisia will be receiving around USD125,000 of financing from the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) for its agricultural projects.

    An agricultural investment program is set to commence in Tunisia within this month and concluded by January of next year.

    Following the approval, and FAO representative Philippe Ankers signed the project with Samir Attaieb, Tunisian Minister of Agriculture, Water Resources and Fisheries.

    Under the project, Tunisia will be raising more investments for its agricultural sector along with attracting contribution of young people in the field, Attaieb explained.

    Ankers also highlighted the commitment of FAO in offering necessary support to Tunisia in its efforts to strengthen the sector.
