Qatar committed to Lebanese bond acquisition plan
(MENAFN) Qatar is completely dedicated to its plan to acquire USD500 million of bonds from the Lebanese government, as assured Qatari Minister of State Hamad bin Abdulaziz Al-Kawari.
Minister of State Al-Kawari made the assertion in Beirut while speaking to Lebanese Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil at a meeting.
As the National News Agency reported, the Qatari minister emphasized: "when Qatar makes a promise, it fulfills it."
This promise was made by Qatari Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani during the first month of this year at the Arab Economic and Social Development Summit.
Al-Kawari further highlighted the commitment of Qatar to strengthen its relations with Lebanon within all areas and domains.
