S. Sudan's media industry to receive Chinese cooperation
(MENAFN) Media exchanges between South Sudan and China will be expanded and deepened as a broadcasting center is set to be sponsored in Juba.
South Sudan Broadcasting Cooperation (SSBC) will be receiving assistance from China to reinforce its performance.
Fresh chances for South Sudan to renovate and grow its media industry will appear through the project to sponsor the broadcasting center, affirmed Chinese Ambassador to South Sudan Hua Ning.
Hua stated: "South Sudan Broadcasting Cooperation has played a unique role in advancing the country's peace process and also made positive contributions to enhancing the peoples' understanding of China."
SSBC managing director Magok Chilim Chok also stressed: "the project will help the station provide higher quality news service to the public. The country is eager to learn more about China."
