    USD125.5m Saudi investments enter Egypt

    (MENAFN) Saudi Arabia invested USD125.5 million in Egypt during the second quarter of the 2018-19 fiscal year, marking a 44.1 percent jump in the Kingdom's net investments in Egypt.

    Egypt's export to Saudi Arabia stood at USD276.7 million to mark a 14.4 percent boost in January and February this year, revealed the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS).

    However, Saudi exports to Egypt registered a 9.5 percent decline during the period compared to the USD1 billion posted last year.

    Exchanges between the two countries were struck with a 7.7 percent fall to reach USD1.2 billion from USD1.3 billion.
