Morocco to bolster economic relations with UK
(MENAFN) Morocco explored with the UK means to strengthen bilateral relations and cooperation, mainly in the economic and trade domains, post-Brexit.
Discussions were held between several Moroccan and UK officials, including British Secretary of State for International Trade Liam Fox and Moroccan Minister of Industry, Trade and New Technologies Moulay Hafid Elalamy.
"Britain is undergoing a mutation with the Brexit, but in any case, it needs to strengthen its relations with a number of friendly countries like Morocco," stated the Moroccan minister.
Elalamy noted "the relations between Morocco and the United Kingdom are very good and long-standing. Today we are lucky to have very good economic and political relations."
Both sides, during the meeting, addressed the stance of Morocco when it comes to the potential of businessmen within European and African markets.
