12 Lebanese-Algerian agricultural agreements signed
(MENAFN) Twelve cooperation deals were secured between Lebanon and Algeria in the agricultural field, announced Lebanese Ambassador to Algeria Mohammad Hassan.
Ambassador Hassan made the declaration while speaking to Lebanese Agriculture Minister Hassan Lakkis on cooperation.
Lebanon's envoy revealed that "a Lebanese delegation will travel to Algeria where the agreements will be signed in a bid to strengthen economic ties between the two countries."
Under the agreements, Hassan confirmed, Lebanon and Algeria will enjoy taxes and customs duties waivers for a number of agricultural products.
Algeria, he added, is looking for agricultural engineers and marketing professionals to open an opportunity for Lebanese people for employment.
