    30.8m barrel oil capacity locked in Oman

    (MENAFN) Oman's Ministry of Oil and Gas revealed in a monthly report that the GCC nation saw its oil generation capacity seal 30.8 million barrels during the fifth month of the year.

    According to the ministry, Oman exported 24.9 million barrels of crude oil in May with China alone amounting for 64.91 percent.

    Despite being Oman's top destination for exports, Chinese imports of Oman crude oil registered a 19 percent drop from April.

    Japan also imported 3.44 percent less Omani oil in May compared to April while Indian imports posted a 6.37 percent boost.
