Farm purchases electricity from Empower
(MENAFN) Effective September, Egypt's Empower was declared to be putting on sale 800 kilowatts of electricity produced from waste.
Chairman of Empower Hatem El Gamal confirmed that a farm will be purchasing the electricity as per a deal it secured with the Egyptian company.
Price of electricity, the chairman revealed, hit EGP 2 per kilowatt with Empower looking to secured deals with 36 farms soon.
El Gamal further added that the company is targeting hikes in investments within the local market to stand at USD250 billion.
