    Transport corridor to be set up by Syria, Iraq, Iran

    (MENAFN) An agreement was reached between Syria, Iran and Iraq for the construction of a multimodal transport corridor aimed at reinforcing trade cooperation among those countries.

    Iranian Deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Development Shahram Adamnejad announced: "the three countries have agreed to establish a multimodal transport corridor from Iran through Iraq to Syria."

    Minister Adamnejad further affirmed that "the three friendly and brotherly countries have good and growing business relations."

    "We will witness a new chapter of trade prosperity among the three countries," assured Adamnejad in reference to trilateral deals and anticipated growth in exchanges.
