Jordan receives USD50m grant from KSA
(MENAFN) Jordan received USD50 million in grant from the Saudi Fund for Development as part of efforts to back the Jordanian education sector.
Using the grant, Jordan is planning to establish new public schools around the Kingdom to reflect the dedication of Saudi Arabia to demonstrate support.
Back in 2018, a summit that Saudi Arabia launched in Mecca pledged USD2.5 billion to reach Jordan amid an economic crisis.
This pledge will be delivered via deposit at the Jordanian Central Bank, along with guarantees for the World Bank, yearly aid for the Jordanian budget and funding projects.
