Qatar, Iraq seek to enhance trade ties
(MENAFN) Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry inked an agreement with the Federation of Iraqi Chambers of Commerce to boost collaboration between both parties, organize joint work and exchange of data, and deepen trade ties and economic cooperation between Qatari firms and their Iraqi counterparts.
The pact was inked by Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al Thani, Chairman of Qatar Chamber; and Abdul Razzaq Al Zuhairi of Federation of Iraqi Chambers of Commerce.
The Chamber and the Federation of Iraqi Chambers are probable to approve the Memorandum of Understanding to increase trade ties and economic collaboration of their allied firms, exchange information and data connected to the economy, laws and legislation related to the formation of business, arbitration practices and settlement of commercial arguments, in addition to holding exhibitions and events to collect their affiliated firms to confer common deals and alliances.
The visit of Iraqi trade delegation to Qatar also aims to find ways to set up new ventures.
